Platinum DC Club, formerly located at 915 F Street NW, was permanently shuttered in 2008 following a history of violent incidents and licensing disputes with the D.C. Alcoholic Beverage Control board. The space's subsequent tenant, an under-18 event called Club Bounce, was also forced to close by city officials due to rising concerns over youth violence and curfew violations in the surrounding Chinatown neighborhood.
